A: No, you can’t buy replacement parts. If you are missing a card/piece or several from a game, we will send you replacements for free. If it’s supposed to be in that deck/game, we want to try to make it whole and usable for you without making you buy a whole new copy.
We will always replace the part or card (or the whole game) if it was missing or damaged when you bought it new. Even for other situations, like if you lost parts or cards, or your dog chewed something up, or you got the game used and slightly incomplete, we will also still replace parts for free, but there are a few limits:
• For card games, the replacement limit is about half a deck.
• If it’s international, and it’s thicker than a few cards (in other words, something that must be shipped as a package and not an envelope), we may ask you to pay for shipping, which may be prohibitively expensive.
To request replacement cards or parts, email us at customer-support@looneylabs.com and tell us:
What game is it from?
What cards/pieces do you need replaced?
Version specifics:
If it’s a pyramid you need, is it the old or new style?
If it’s a Fluxx game, is it the older graphic style, or the newer?
For card games, what printer was it made at? (this information is with the “fine print” on the bottom edge of the box.)
Don’t forget to also tell us the address to send it to, of course.
Getting mail as a kid is always exciting, so if there is a kid in your household (who plays the game) you can let us know their name, we can address the envelope & message to them.
If you are looking to add a non-promo card to a deck which it wasn’t originally designed for, on the other hand, no, we don’t sell those. We don’t have a ton of extras of regular deck cards lying around. When we open up a brand new deck to get a replacement card for someone, that costs us a whole deck, so we don’t open them up to sell cards piecemeal.
“But I got a promo pack, and some of the Goals don’t work with the deck I want to put it in!”
