A: It’s true that there are no cards that get rid of Creepers in Mystery Fluxx. It was very difficult to fit all those different cards in when there are so many different card types, and, for some reason, it never came up as an issue in the playesting as a problem – perhaps because of a combination of Elimination removing them, and people winning with Goals that use them.
If that’s not enough to keep your games running smoothly, you might pick up our Creeper Pack. Although it was designed to be added to the unthemed Fluxx decks (the ones with Milk, Cookies, Sun, Moon, etc…) it might actually be worth getting add to Mystery Fluxx. Because it’s purpose was to add Creepers to a deck without one, it includes a several cards to deal with the Creepers it contains.
Obviously you wouldn’t necessarily add the Creepers themselves to your Mystery Fluxx deck, nor the Goals which link them to the unthemed decks, but…
Cards which would ameliorate the situation in Mystery Fluxx are:
New Rule: Silver Lining (lets you win even if you have a Creeper)
Actions: Trash Something (Keeper or Creeper), Creeper Sweeper (gets rid of all Creepers in play), and Move a Creeper.
It also has Steal Something (Keeper or Creeper) which is meant to be a more inclusive version of Steal a Keeper.
Although not necessarily on-theme for Mystery Fluxx, the pack does also contain some cards which work independently without cards from an unthemed deck. Death, War, and Taxes also work independently with the Goals War=Death (War & Death) and All That is Certain (Death & Taxes). The Radioactive Potato Creeper and the Rule: You Also Need a Baked Potato also stand alone as a functional pair. Note, however, that the Radioactive Potato works in the same way as the Time Bomb, moving around the table, so maybe that would be a bit much!
