A: To review, Inflation has you increase by one any numeral seen on other cards. Note that it also has a couple of relatives that behave similarly.

However, just because taking the bonus is optional does not mean the quantity of the bonus is flexible. It’s either the whole adjusted amount, or none.

So if you “may play 1 extra card,” and Inflation is in play, then it’s either zero or two.
There is no one.
